About Radisson Mining Resources Inc.
Radisson is a gold exploration company focused on its 100% owned O’Brien Gold Project, located in the Bousquet-Cadillac mining camp along the world-renowned Larder-Lake-Cadillac Break in Abitibi, Québec. The Bousquet-Cadillac mining camp has produced over 25 million ounces of gold over the last 100 years. The Project hosts the former O’Brien Mine, considered to have been Québec’s highest-grade gold producer during its production. Indicated Mineral Resources are estimated at 0.50 million ounces (1.52 million tonnes at 10.26 g/t Au), with additional Inferred Mineral Resources estimated at 0.45 million ounces (1.62 million tonnes at 8.64 g/t Au).
Description of tasks:
Under the supervision of the Senior Project Geologist, the person is responsible for the execution of exploration programs:
- Supervises diamond drilling campaigns.
- Description of drill cores using various technological tools and software, application and monitoring of the QA/QC protocol.
- Compiles, processes and integrates drilling and field work data.
- Participates and provides technical/geological support for 3D modeling as well as monitoring drilling progress.
- Participates in the writing of technical reports.
- Assists the supervisor in all the company’s exploration activities, all in compliance with 43-101 standards, laws, rules, regulations, procedures and the mining and health and safety law. workplace safety in Quebec.
Workplace clarification:
The O’Brien project is located in Rouyn-Noranda in the Cadillac district along Route 117.
Work timetable:
Full-time. Day. Schedule 7/7 (during drilling), 40 hours per week 5/2 on site otherwise
Qualifications required:
- Be part of the Order of Geologists of Quebec (OGQ) or the Order of Engineers of Quebec (OIQ) or an Order of Geologists recognized in Canada.
- Possess a valid driving license.
- Canadian work permit
Level of study:
Undergraduate university (Baccalaureate), Geology or geological engineering
Experience: required:
3 to 5 years of experience
Description of skills:
- Comply with health and safety provisions.
- Have a good working knowledge of Microsoft tools, knowledge of software such as Geotic, Leapfrog, MapInfo, is also desired.
- Demonstrate leadership, be determined, motivated and enjoy teamwork.
- Have skills in the interpretation of geological data.
